Parent Information
1. Wipes are needed for your child for potty time. We (teachers and children) wash our hands after snack, art, lunch, outside play, and other times during
the day.
2. Pacifiers are part of the transition process. We try to discourage the use of these gradually. If your child uses one at naptime, we will of course give
it. However, we do not let a child walk around durin gthe day with his/her pacifier.
3. We will continue to take the children outside (either to the play yard or for a walk) for their daily energy exertion — weather permitting. Please
dress your child appropriately for the daycare atmosphere. Wile frilly dresses and sandals are pretty on little girls, they may get dirty and grimy. Seasonal
clothing and sneakers are comfortable for the children to move around in without worry of ruining their clothes. Please send in an extra outfit of clothing in
the event of potty accidents and play time dirt or grime. Make sure the extra clothing is in season and still fits your child.
4. Daily reports are given to keep our parents informed of how their child's day went and the highlights of the day. Also included on the daily reports are
reminders of special events, upcoming activities, and items needed for the child (diapers, wipes, pull-ups, etc.).
5. Please note that posted on the Parent Board, located in your child's room, is the sign in/out sheet, special notices from your child's teachers, a lunch
menu, and special memos from the office. Be sure to look at the Parent Board daily.
