This summer we want to encourage the children to serve others. We will have several service projects for the children to participate in. We have chosen The Ronald McDonald House in Hershey and The Country Meadows Assisted Living Facility as our Service Project Organizations. The Ronald McDonald House provides a "home away from home" for parents and families who have loved ones in the hospital. The Country Meadows facility is a great place for our older friends to enjoy the luxuries of home with a little help.

Operation Christmas Child

100 Quarters to Give!

Each classroom and the office will begin collecting QUARTERS. The goal is for each classroom to collect 100 quarters. A container will be placed in each room and the room that collects the most quarters will enjoy an ice cream social. All of the quarters collected during the summer will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House.

Soda Can Tabs

All those little metal tabs on your canned sodas will help us out!! The more we collect, the more help The Ronald McDonald House receives. We will place containers in the classrooms for the children to put your tabs in. Remember, don't toss the can in the recycle box before taking the tab off and tossing it in the tab container.

Bring a Zoo!

We will be collecting new stuffed animals for the ill children who spend time at The Ronald McDonald House and hospital. The stuffed animals must be NEW to protect the immune systems of the children.

Mile High of Magazines

All those glossy colored magazines just laying around cluttering your house? Donate them to us! Our goal is to stack up a mile or two or even three miles of magazines. We will donate these magazines to The Ronald McDonald House as well.

Service Project for The Country Meadows Assisted Living Facility

Some of the residents from The Country Meadows Assisted Living Facility will be visiting the 1st through 6th Grade Classrooms every week this summer. Our kiddos will be learning from the "Young At Heart", and the "Young At Heart" will be learning from the kiddos.
