A Message From Our Director

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to The Children's Garden website! All of us at The Children's Garden would like to make this a successful experience for your child. Your active support and cooperation, combined with our best professional efforts, will ensure academic success for all our students. I am proud of our staff, and I feel fortunate to work with such dedicated, talented teachers.

We invite you to become involved in The Children's Garden, and encourage you to visit often. The home-school partnership is strengthened by your involvement, and there is a spirit of cooperation and progress at our center that we would like to share with you.

There will be many activities and special events throughout the year that will give you the opportunity to become involved in your child's education. We encourage you to make these activities a part of your schedule. We realize that not all parents or guardians can attend center functions, but we encourage you to demonstrate to your children that you're interested in their day by setting aside a few minutes each day to:

  • listen while your child describes school day activities
  • read to your child
  • listen while your child reads to you

Please feel free to stop in and introduce yourself to me, or to ask a question about anything that concerns you. I look forward to working together as partners in learning.

Sincerely,

Tracy Baxter, Director
